We'd rather say it up front. A no-frills place that keeps its promises is worth more than one that promises and disappoints.

- — Your room tidied every dayEvery morning we make the beds and tidy the room, as in a hotel.

- — LiftUp to the rooms without the stairs. Using a wheelchair? Write to us first: it depends on its size.

What we don't have
- — KitchenetteNot in any room. Cafés, restaurants and a supermarket are within a hundred metres.
- — 24-hour receptionCheck-in is self-service. We answer on WhatsApp and by phone.
- — Garage or reserved parking spaceParking is free, on the street.
- — PetsNot allowed.
- — Extra bedsEach room sleeps as many people as its beds hold. Cots available on request.
- — Guest laundryOur laundry only washes the room linen.
Times and rules
- — Check-inFrom 15:00, self-service, at any hour. The codes arrive once you've sent your documents.
- — Check-outBy 10:00.
- — DocumentsEvery guest needs a valid ID: by law we send their details to the police (Questura) within 24 hours of arrival.
- — Non-smoking propertyIn all areas, rooms included.
- — Quiet hoursFrom 22:00 to 8:00. Many guests work and get up early.
- — Parties and eventsNot allowed.
- — Tourist tax€2.00 per person per night, payable to the Municipality of Empoli. Not charged from the seventh consecutive night. Not included in the rate.
